Babolat AeroPro Team GT

A new addition to the Aero lineup as Babolat introduces the AeroPro Team GT. Players will love the spin potential on this frame. The 16x19 open string pattern combined with the unique Aero frame construction will provide spin oriented players with an addiction for added spin, especially baseline players who love to hit with lots of topspin. The Cortex embedded shaft attunes in conjunction with Woofer crescent moon shaped grommets to maximize string bed response and siphon away discomforting vibrations to give Babolat fans the feel and comfort they know and love.
The 10.4 ounce strung weight will allow the AeroPro Team GT to be a perfect frame for junior players transitioning to an adult sized frame as well as adult players in need of a highly maneuverable frame from an aeromodular design with plenty of pop. The Aeropro Team GT will benefit players looking for more pace on serve and groundstrokes. The new GT technology from Babolat combines a hybrid material of braided carbon and tungsten fibers to reduce torque upon impact, resulting in cleaner, more powerful and precise shots. The AeroPro Team GT is a frame we recommend for NTRP rating 3.5 and up players.

Personal Experience

The new Aero Pro Team GT feels like a feather, weighing in at a mere 9.9 ounces unstrung. But despite the low weight, it still hits like a beast.
You’ll have no problem whipping this baby through the strikezone on those rapid-fire reflex volleys or getting around on your teaching pro’s big serve .
This racquet is ideal for beginners, women and young juniors looking to find a frame they can wield effortlessly yet still hit out on without becoming prime candidates for arm fatigue. Like many of the other incarnations of the Aero Pro series, it’s got the mid-plus 100 square inch headsize and 16 x 19 string pattern, which makes it an ideal spin candidate.
This racquet really spoke volumes at the net where its low weight and firm feel were put to excellent use in high putaways and quick back-and-forth exchanges. From the back of the court, this racquet still ploughed through the court with ease.
In the hands of a crafty spin maestro, this racquet could make life miserable for opponents. The superior maneuverability of this frame makes placement and targeting a simpler task.
AEROPRO TEAM GT TENNIS RACQUETSI don’t often play with a racquet this light, but the Aero Pro Team GT made me revise my thinking about what lightweight frames are capable of.

I was using a Head Ix6 previous, demod the team GT and was hooked. Some growing pains getting used to a smaller head but have to say it is getting better with each play. Groundstrokes are deep and heavy and accuracy is much improved. Still light enough to react well at the net. When you get the sweet spot on serves and overheads the ball explodes. Great upgrade for this 4.0 doubles player...

Excellent racquet
