Wilson Pro Staff Six-One 90 BLX

Fusing the past and the future, the Wilson Pro Staff Six-One 90 BLX restores the Pro Staff name to the Roger Federer signature line while providing yet another technological advance in feel. After the introduction of BLX, Wilson found that players of all levels were still looking for more feel. In response to this, AmpliFeel was developed to assist the Basalt fibers within the frame in delivering a pure feel at impact. The Pro Staff Six-One 90 BLX offers the ultimate in control to go along with the new found sensation. The way AmpliFeel works is to replace some of the foam material of the handle pallet with graphite and basalt plates in order to transmit only preferred vibrational frequencies. Complementing the small head size is a solid 12 ounce unstrung weight and a very head light balance to provide both stability and maneuverability for the all-court player. On court, our testers found the same high level of control as the previous versions, PRO STAFF SIX.ONE 90 BLX TENNIS RACQUET but with additional vibration dampening that was noticeable on off-center hits. The open string pattern helped create a good amount of spin from the back of the court while the firm flex provided some surprising power from the smaller head size.

I am very happy with my racquet. The spin that you can place on the ball is great.

Pro Staff Six.One 90 BLX Review

I switched from the Six.One Tour 90 BLX to this. I had Wilson Hollow Core strings at 58 lbs tension. With the Pro Staff 90 I selected Babolot Pro Hurrican Tour 16g strings at 52 lbs of tension. Day 1 - I was overhitting everything. Day 2 - Used the lower string tension to my advantage to create a deeper one handed backhand. With my forehand, if the ball is above my waist I tend to jump up into the air and smash the shotit sounds weird but it is as fast if not faster than my serve, and very accurate. I found using this racquet gives me even more power than I had in my previous one. Volleys- more touch. Overheads- more pop. Serve- more pop & spin.

Great feel and love the weight

I am a player who loves the weight on the racket. I feel this racket has a better feel through the ball than the BLX did before. Overall Im very pleased with the racket. I will probably have to get another.
